Advanced Driving Schools

Our ILR Car Control School is the most advanced driver training system in North America.  This course is designed for ALL drivers and will take you well beyond the defensive driver training that other courses offer to the highest level of safe driving – Pro-Active© Driving.

For more than twenty years of operation, we have trained drivers from 16 to 86 years of age.  Our courses help more mature drivers to find bad driving habits and correct them while helping new drivers learn to be as safe as possible and avoid developing those bad driving habits.

We have trained thousands of drivers to be safer and more confident road users. From the general public to government employees (MTO, MOE and MNR for the Ontario Government) including many corporations and auto clubs, we have trained drivers to the highest standards of advanced driver education.

We have helped many drivers to overcome Post Collision Stress Syndrome (PCSS) by helping them regain confidence in their driving. Insurance companies have sent their clients to us to help them overcome their fear of driving.  By showing these drivers exactly what their vehicle is capable of and by showing them new skills on how to control their vehicle, they leave our driving school with new confidence in their abilities. Whether it is a fear of driving in winter or on highways or panic from being in traffic, we have the experience and understanding to help all drivers.

If you suffer from PCSS or are a timid driver, you are not alone. Many drivers share the same feelings and we have helped many overcome their fears.  

In order to obtain our drivers’ license we are taught only the bare minimum to pass the test.   This is the equivalent to only a Grade 8 level of education.  You wouldn’t want your doctor to operate on you or your family members with that limited skill level.  We also suggest that you should not be content to drive on our overcrowded roads with such a low level of training.

This training is for ALL drivers regardless of age or experience. Even more mature drivers need a higher level of driver education and help to identify and rectify years of bad driving habits.  We will take you to the College level of driver training.

Our Car Control School and our Winter Driving School offer you the highest level of driver education (defensive driver education) in North America. These two courses will train any driver to be as safe as possible on North American roads.

We will take you beyond Defensive Driver Training into the realm of Pro-Active© Driving.
