New Video on our Winter School Two of our readers, Eva and Johan in Stockholm, tell us that in order to get a driver’s licence in Sweden you have to pass a winter driving course.  Yet here in Canada, where admittedly THIS winter has been mild and relatively snow free in southern Ontario, we allow people to get behind the wheel with NO compulsory winter driving training at all.  What is wrong with that picture?

ILR is trying to fill that gap. A couple of weeks ago we were able to capture the essence of our ILR Goodyear

Advanced Winter Driving  Schools in Minden with this video.  In four and a half minutes you will better
understand what you will learn and how to be safer in winter. In fact, the video contains many winter driving tips. We want to be your partner in winter driving safety.

Workplace Safety extends to the driver’s seat.  Many corporations and government agencies have and continue to engage ILR Car Control School to train
their staff.  We look forward to discussing your ‘Corporate’ Driver Training Day.

Feb 17-26: Canadian International Auto Show Booth F800  Metro Convention Centre

Our theme: Better Driving is no accident

This show is produced by the Toronto Automobile Dealer’s Association and is the largest consumer show in Canada with over 350,000 attendees in 2011.As the Official Advanced Driver Training School of the TADA we plan to showcase our Advanced Driver Training schools along with an exotic automobile from one of our generous James Day Fund exotic car owners.

Winter Driving Schools in Minden

Every Saturday from now through March 10 [again, weather permitting] we will be conducting our Winter Driving School. Hope to see you there. Come and test drive a car with Goodyear Ultra-Grip Ice WRT tires, the Official Winter Tire of the ILR Car Control School.

Upcoming shows

People tell us we have the most unique and amazing advanced driver training, unparalleled in the GTA.  But not enough people know about us.  So in an attempt to stop being a ‘best kept secret’ we are doing three shows in February.  We hope you will come and see us at one or all of the shows.
